Racing Home hosted a Dog Bath and Play Day. The event was held at:

The event was held from 10:00am to 2:00 pm, and the Dog Bath cost $20.00 - all proceeds went to the greyhounds! We made over $500 on this event. Please check our Events Page regularly, as we will be hold more Dog Wash Events in the future.

We were involved with "Greyhound Planet" activities all this week. Check back, as more information will be posted as to what was accomplished this year.

4th Annual Bowl-a-Rama We were involved with the 4th Annual Bowl-a-Rama held from 10am to 5pm at:

The goal of the Bowl-a-rama is to raise much needed awareness and funds for local animal rescue organizations during the summer heat when it is virtually impossible to conduct outdoor activities. Despite raising over $425,000 in its first three years (98% of which went directly to the participating animal welfare organizations as well as emergency veterinary costs for animals in their care), the need for is greater than ever. On behalf of the animals that will benefit from your generosity, thank you for helping us to achieve this year's goal of $250,000! We raised $1,400.00 for Racing Home.

Fine Arts Festival and Pet Adoption Event We were involved with the Fine Arts Festival and Pet Adoption Event. We hope you were able to attend as meet our GREYT dogs.

Pets 911 & the VOS Kiwanis ClubPet Adoption Event We were involved with the Pets 911 & the VOS Kiwanis Club Classic Car Show Pet Adoption Event Over 40 welfare groups were on site with cats, dogs, and other furry friends just waiting to melt your heart. Hope you were able to come and meet them!

Canine Holloween Bash at In The Raw

We had a Canine Holloween Bash from 7 to 9pm. It was at:

There was a costume contest with the judging at 8pm. RHGA was there with dogs, merchandise and bowl painting. We hoped we saw you there, as we had some Greyt fun.

We had a lot of fun at this years Bowl-A-Rama. This is becoming one of our most fun events as an organization (check out the fun we had at the 2004 Bowl-A-Rama). We raise a lot of money for our dogs.

AJ's Pet Appreciation Day and Adopt-a-thon in partnership with the Pets 911 Auxiliary! In recognition of Pet Appreciation Day, AJ's Fine Foods partnered with the Pets 911 Auxiliary and brought you a special adoption event, and Pet Festival! Ten humane Rescue groups were on site in front of the AJ's store with beautiful adoptable animals looking for new forever homes, and important information about their groups and the services they provide.

SCOTTSDALE ART WAG 2005 A CELEBRATION OF ART AND DOGS (AND CATS TOO!) SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY ARTIST RON BURNS TO BENEFIT AZ NON-PROFIT ANIMAL RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS

The Scottsdale Art Wag 2005 offered unique art experiences for both pets and their owners. This was a "hands on" and "paws on" event from 8am to noon and ttendees were able to visit several art studios which showcased one of the great masters and were able to create a piece of art for themselves and their dog. Sometimes the dogs even created the art! Each exhibit was hosted by one of Arizona's non-profit animal rescue groups and all of the proceeds went to their organization.

We marched with our Greyt dogs in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Phoenix. We hope everyone came out and saw us and saw what Greyt dogs we have.

Yard Sale We had a Yard Sale, which brought in about $500.00. We sold almost everything that was for sale. Thanks so much to everyone who came by and bought something. This brings us a little bit closer to the money needed to pay for 'Seppe's surgery. If you would still like to help, please visit our Angels Page and make a donation.

Pets911 Franciscan Renewal Event - this event included the Blessing of the Animals.

Dozens of local animal welfare groups were on hand with a wide variety of healthy and adoptable pets looking for new homes. Many of the Valley's most respected animal experts were present discussing pet care & pet issues.

Proceeds benefitted Mel's Fund, a unique program through which at-risk youth care for, train, and prepare shelter dogs for a new home... while learning about themselves.

Greyhound Planet Day Greyhound Planet is a day chosen each year to honor the Greyhound and its relatives (Galgos, lurchers, etc.) throughout the world.

There was a Greyhound Planet Day Photo Shoot with Camelback Photography. on this day. Greyhounds of Fairhaven joined us for this event. Thank you to all those who helped us honor these wonderful animals.

Greyhound Planet Day Flyer and Information.

Bowl-a-Rama Fundraiser held at AMF Shea Village Lanes, 10870 N. 32nd Street (between Cactus and Shea) in Phoenix Everyone bowled pretty good - and we got special mention for our cheering section. Pledges total $1,187.10, plus we got $10.00 for a strike on a colored head pin. We will also get a portion of the money raised by corporate sponsorship. We had a great time and lots of people stopped by to look at our display and talk to us about the Greys. We won ten 3 pound bags of dog food in the silent auction which has been given to out Foster Coordinator for our foster homes. We think it was extremely successful for our first "public" event. Next year's Bowl-a-Rama has been scheduled for the first Saturday in August - mark your calendars!!!
